There are quite a few well-known recipes with falernum, on the more classic tiki side with a bit more ingredients we have, for example, the Zombie, Three Dots And A Dash or Saturn, then for the “simpler” drinks of course the Corn N' Oil and finally the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

The latter has always appealed to me a lot, just as every extended Daiquiri variation encourages me to try it out, be it a Brooklynite or Isle Of Martinique. Here, we add a hint of orange peel to the classic daiquiri recipe and, of course, the silky-spicy notes of falernum to conjure up a rather complex affair from its simple origins.

As is always the case with such old recipes, there are now and also in its earlier history very different ratios, from 15ml orange liqueur to recipes with more falernum than lime. This one, on the other hand, is probably more suited to modern tongues. I have also included the recommendation from Mixology magazine to add 1-2 dashes of bitters, which do indeed fit well into the tiki cosmos.
